The Gonfalon

From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"It was confirmed at September, 2d, 1997 by the decision N7 of VIII city council session of II convocation. A square yellow panel with two diagonal and one vertical dark blue strips (the width of a strip is equal to 1/5 parties of the gonfalone). In the center of crossing is the board with the city arms. Strips specify the initial letter of the city name. The author is A.Grechylo. A.Grechylo, "Ukrainian city and village arms and flags", part 1."

From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"It was confirmed at September, 2d, 1997 by the decision N7 of VIII city council session of II convocation. The modern coat of arms: in a or field there is Saint Ivan, keeping in the right hand a or cup, in the left - a sable snake. Clothes are dark blue, the cloak is gules."

The saint on the coat of arms must be St.John the Evangelist, also depicted with a golden bowl and snake on the coat of arms of Krsko (Slovenia).
