Description

The old flag of the Pizza Hut corporation: a simple white flag with the well-known corporation's logo in the center as can be seen at www.newtonnewtonflags.com/corporate-flag-pizza-hut.htm. What's the red thing in the logo? The hut's roof?

In the meanwhile, the company "modernized" its logo, so this flag is no longer current, but I'd be extremely surprised if the new flag was anything else than the new logo on white. This new logo can be seen in the Pizza Hut main website at www.pizzahut.com/.

In his post from 2005, Jorge Candeias highlighted a white flag bearing the well-known Pizza Hut logo introduced in 1975 and decommissioned in 1999. He also pointed out that the logo had changed and speculated that the then-current flag was also likely the then-current logo on a white field. Since Jorge's post in 2005, the Pizza Hut logo has changed again, back to the 1975 logo. That change was effective as of 2019. If Jorge's speculation in 2005 was correct, that would mean that the flag he presented is once again the current one.

In the meantime, below are the graphics for two flags that I found for sale online, though I haven't yet found any evidence of their actual use.

In 1999, the Pizza Hut chain adopted a new logo, changing the script in which the name of the chain is written, adding a yellow slash beneath the name and changing the dot in the "i" to green. At https://www.flags.com/pizza-hut-flag/ can be found for sale a white flag with this logo centered.

In 2014, a new logo was introduced. This logo converted the previous logo, introduced in 1999, to a white silhouette centered on a red circle, outlined with a white ring inside a red ring. At https://www.northstarflags.com/pizza-hut.html can be found for sale a white flag with this logo centered.
