Description of the flag

One of the best places to find corporate flags of all varieties is at a NASCAR race. With companies paying millions of dollars to place their logos on the racecars or on the advertizing banners for the track, the race, or the sport in general, corporate flags are everywhere at the track... even among the fans, who proudly display the corporate flag of the company that sponsors their favorite driver.

One of the most prominent corporate flags at a NASCAR race today is the flag of Sunoco, the official fuel provider (and major corporate partner) of NASCAR. Originally known as Sun Company and Sun Oil Company, Sunoco has been a NASCAR corporate partner since replacing ConocoPhillips' 76 brand in 2004 as the exclusive fuel provider for the sport.

The Sunoco flag, which can be seen at NASCAR events as well as at Sunoco gas stations, features the corporate logo centered on a blue field. The logo has the name of the company in blue capital letters across a yellow diamond, with a red arrow placed diagonal from upper left to lower right behind the diamond.
