Seal

[Seal] image located by Ethan Dubrow, 25 May 2024

The seal on the flag is somewhat different from how it usually looks. It's mostly in terms of color, but on the horizontal bar where the anchor's "stock" is, there are 3 bands on each side instead of 2.

On a white shield, possibly with a blue outline, a black fouled anchor with yellow bands on the arm, a red plow, and a blue fish; above the shield a gold eagle carrying a pennant in American colors: below a drum and crossed blue guns with white bayonets; a gold escrol with the name and date 1663 on it. Under the eagle's wing, dexter side, are red and white stripes, part of a hidden, second flag/pennant. The flag on the drum is the old, colonial American flag, with the union jack.

based on photo

The flag consists of the official insignia centered on a white bedsheet. The insignia has a thin yellow border. In the center are firemen riding what could be a fire pump. They are being pulled by horse. The insignia has a yellow escroll with the town's name on it in black and a navy blue bottom part reading "VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPT." in yellow.
