A white flag with the town seal in the center.  The seal consists of a picture of a statue in black and white, surrounded by two red-lined rings, the inner one incomplete, bearing the dates of incorporation and elevation to city status, and in the outer ring the name of the city and state. Below is yellow ribbon with text. Westfield is in Hampden County.

Westfield is bordered by West Springfield on the east, Southwick on the south, Granville on the southwest, Russell and Montgomery on the west, Southampton on the north and Holyoke on the northeast.
