Description of the flag

The new flag is described in the meeting packet as follows: https://www.raytown.mo.us

• Honors the old flag while modernizing the look and incorporating additional elements of the City's legacy

• Encourages a renewed and refreshed sense of civic and community pride in time before Raytown's 75th birthday in 2025

• Represents progress and change of the people and places in Raytown

• Red and blue reference the current city flag, as well as the US and Missouri flags. Additionally, it touches on our pride in Raytown and Kansas City sports teams

• The three white lines represent the historic trails that intertwine with
our City's story

• The anvil is iconic to the imagery of Raytown and its namesake, blacksmith William Ray

A photo of the flag was posted on the VAKC Wordpress page: https://vexikc.wordpress.com/2019/02/20/5/

I found a few small images (on big photos) of the flying flag:

Attached is my drawing of the flag. I wasn't sure of the color of the text.
