The seal is made of a white ring with black outlines. The city name is inscribed
from 9:00 to 3:00 clockwise, and the founding year from 6:25 to 5:45
counterclockwise. The text are separated by two autumn leaves on ether side. In
the center of the seal is simplified art of the Columbus County Courthouse,
featuring an American flag.
