Description of the flag

The flag is a black field with a white horizontal chevron with dark blue borders. Inside the white chevron is a stylized leaf used in the township logo. On the blue border is the township name.

The logo is made of a stylized leaf which also shows green hills and blue creeks. under the leaf is the township name and the township motto which is "Between the Brandywines", which refers to the West and East Branch Brandywine Creek.
