Sandy Bay Yacht Club

Sandy Bay Yacht Club (SBYC), located in Rockport, was founded in 1885.

The burgee of the SBYC is prescribed in the club's by-laws (8th printing, 2008) as follows:
"Article 1. Name and Purpose.
[..]
Section 2. Club's Flag.
The club flag shall be a pointed burgee, its hoist being two-thirds its length. It shall be a red pennant with a six-pointed white star in the center thereon.
