About the Aden Protectorate Levies and the Flag

The Aden Protectorate Levies were a militia force for local defense, armed and officered by the British. They used the Lahej emblem although they were drawn from all parts of the Protectorate.

The Aden Protectorate Levies Flag was originally shown incorrectly in Flagmaster [flm] 106. The error was acknowledged in Flagmaster 107, page 17, and has now been corrected in Part 2 of the article, "Yemen Land of many Flags" in Flagmaster 108, from which the image above was taken.
