Großolbersdorf Coat of Arms

Shield Argent a mount issuant Vert charged with an upper demi-cogwheel of Gules and Argent, on its peak an oak Vert trunked Gules superimposing a plough Sable, on dexter chief a sinister facing horse forcene Sable, on sinister chief a hops umble Vert.
Meaning:
Until 1997 the arms were similar, also displaying mount, cogwheel, oak and plough, the horse forcene was dexter facing on sinister chief and separated from the rest by a bendlet Gules. The horse is representing the former municipality of Hohndorf, incorporated on 1 January 1994, the umble is representing the former municipality of Hopfgarten, incorporated on 1 October 1998. The other elements are representing Großolbersdorf proper.
