Mauern Coat of Arms

Shield Gules, a wall Argent with two embattlements, in chief an impending lozenge Or.
Meaning:
The lozenge is taken from the arms of the Kuttenauer kin, local rulers between 1544 and 1585, the embattled wall from those of the Preysing kin, their successors between 1585 and 1641.

The banner probably has never been approved officially. The arms were approved on 27 December 1979 by district governor (Regierungspräsident) of Oberbayern.
