Coat of Arms

Shield Or, a church Sable, flanked by two triplets of oak leaves Vert ordred per pale, in base a bar wavy Azure.
Meaning:
The church is representing Breitenau Monastery. The number of leaves is symbolising the parts of Guxhagen as follows: Albshausen, Büchenwerra, Ellenberg, Grebenau, Guxhagen proper and Wollrode. The bar wavy is representing the rivers Fulda and Eder and Schwarzenbach creek.
