State Flag c.1856-c.1880

Landesflagge

With reversed colors (red over yellow) and a different crown, the 1890's princely standard was the state flag c.1856 - c.1876/78. The shield is always reproduced as of rounded type (Ströhl 1897).

Siebmacher 1878 shows as Landesflagge a flag parted red over yellow. On the hoist half a princely-crowned white circle with the Lippian rose.
