Gutenstetten Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess; above Sable five firs Argent surrounding an inescutcheon Gules with a church tower Argent; beneath Argent three bars wavy Azure.
The bars wavy are s representation of the local creeks Aisch, Ehe and Steinach. Furthermore white and blue are the Bavarian tinctures. The firs are representing the former municipalities of Bergtheim, Gutenstetten proper, Pahres, Reinhardshofen and Rockenbach, which merged in 1972. They are also representing those parts, located in the Steigerwald, a forest. The colours black and white are those of the Margarves of Ansbach-Bayreuth. The tower is a representation of the parish church of Gutenstetten. All other former municipalities also belong to that parish. Red and white are the colours of Franken.
