Ohlsbach Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess, above Gules a fish embowed Argent, beneath Argent a grapevine Azure leafed Vert.
Meaning:
The embowed fish is taken from the arms of the Free Imperial City of Gengenbach, to which Ohlsbach belonged from 1402 until 1803. In 1806 it was separated from Gengenbach. The grapevine is symbolising viticulture. The first local seal was made in 1806. It displayed already a grapevine beneath the arms of Baden under a princely coronet.
