Alt Zachun Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess; above Gules, a lion rampant double queued Or, crowned Or, armed Sable and tongued Gules and a fleur de lis Argent on dexter chief point; beneath Or on a triplemount issuant Vert a stomp of the same with three intertwined sprouts.
Meaning:
The lion is taken from the family arms of the Pentz kin, the fleur de lis from those of the Schack kin. Before 1757 both families owned parts of the villages Alt- and Neu Zachun. The lower half is symbolising the flourishing municipality, agriculture and nature.

Bandenitz Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Or a wyvern rampant reguardant Sable, at sinister parted per fess, above Argent a bird passant Gules, beneath Gules a sinister pointing eagle's claw Or.
Meaning:
The municipality has three settlement cores, Bandenitz proper, Radelübbe and Besendorf. The wyvern is taken from the arms of the Counts of Schwerin, who ruled the whole territory of the current municipality until 1358. The bird is taken from the arms of the Dorne kin, who owned Radelübbe. The claw is taken from the arms of the Drieberg kin, who owned Besendorf.

Bobzin Coat of Arms

Shield Or a pallet Azure, at dexter a wyvern rampant reguardant Sable armed and tongued Gules, at sinister a wheat ear Vert between two trefoils of the same growing from the same stalk.
Meaning:
The wyvern is from the personal seal of Count Gunzelin III of Schwerin, who ruled the village around 1230. Grain and clover are representing agriculture and stockbreeding as main business lines.

Bresegard Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, issuant from base a mount Gules, topped by a birch Vert nine fold fruited Argent.
Meaning:
The arms are canting. The name of the municipality is of Slavic origin, derived from breza (= birch) and góra (= mountain). The number of fruit is alluding to the nine historical settlement cores.

Meaning:
The cones are canting, as the municipality's name of Slavic origin means "hops". The cross is symbolising the local parish church in Gothic style.

Kirch Jesar Coat of Arms

Shield parted abased per fess wavy, above Or a church Gules, beneath Azure a fish Argent.
Meaning:
The arms are canting, displaying a church near a lake (Old Slavic: jezero). The church furthermore is a representation of the local parish church, built at the beginning of the 18th century and modified in the 19th century. The fish is alluding to the riches of fish in the lake.

Moraas Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Or a wyvern rampant reguardant Sable, at sinister Gules a half Maltese cross Argent couped per pale.
Meaning:
The wyvern is taken from the arms of the Counts of Schwerin. The cross is a differentiation of the arms of the Order of St. John. In 1227 Count Heinrich I of Schwerin consigned the village to the order, partially by donation and partially by selling.

Pätow-Steegen Coat of Arms

Shield parted by a barrulet Azure, above Or a sinister pointing plough Sable; beneath Azure a barrulet Or at top, superimposed by a mantle reversed Vert.
Meaning:
The lower half is symbolising the two name giving villages, connected by a pedestrian overpass (German: Steg). The blue barrulet is thus canting for Steegen. The plough is symbolising the importance of agriculture nowadays and in the past.

Pritzier Coat of Arms

Shield Vert, a brooch Argent in bend formed like a crossbow, flanked by two apple blossoms Argent seeded Or.
Meaning:
The apple blossoms are alluding to the local orchards and the distillery for fruit brandy. The brooch was found during excavations on a Roman graveyard between 1938 and 1939.

Strohkirchen Coat of Arms

Shield parted abased by a barrulet wavy Or, above Gules a farmhouse Or with half timber and agble shelves Sable, beneath Vert a watermill's lower demi-wheel Or.
Meaning:
The barrulet wavy is representing Jasnitz, a creek. The farmhouse is of Lower Saxonian style, typical for the municipality. The millwheel is representing a former watermill at the Jasnitz, and is alluding to the miller Strohkark. He is actually the name giver of the municipality. He used his mill as a camouflage of his main business, which had been highway robbery.

Toddin Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess, above Gules an oak leaf Argent in bend sinister, connected with three acorns of the same, beneath Or a bluebottle's blossom Azure with stalk.
Meaning:
The charges are representing the main business lines, forestry represented by the oak leaf and the bluebottle (Latin: Centaurea cyanus) representing agriculture. The bluebottle furthermore is part of the badges of all sorts of local clubs.
