Großrosseln Coat of Arms

Shield parted per bend sinister, above Azure, a lion rampant issuant Argent crowned Or and tongued Gules, beneath Argent six crosslets treffly fitchy Azure ordered 1:2:3.
Meaning:
The lion is a modification of the arms of the Counts of Saarbrücken, who ruled the village until the end of the 18th century. The crosses are representing the former municipalities Großrosseln proper, Dorf im Warndt, Emmersweiler, Karlsbrunn, Naßweiler and St. Nikolaus.
