Andisleben Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess embattled, above Gules three plough shares Argent in fess, beneath Argent three connected bars wavy in pale.
Meaning:
The plough shares are symbolising agriculture as most important business line in the past. The line of partition is symbolising the local moated castle, which was mentioned in 1308 in the chronicle of Erfurt. The bars wavy are a representation of the three arms of the Gera River.

Walschleben Coat of Arms

Shield parted by a double chevron wavy reversed Argent, above Gules two linden leaves Argent in fess, beneath Azure a millstone Argent.
Meaning:
The wavy chevron is a representation of the Gera River. Its name is derived from gero, a narrow corner. Hence the shape of the double chevron, which also has the shape of the municipality´s initial. The linden leaves are a symbol for the typical lindens around the farms in the area. The millstone is symbolising the many mills alongside the Gera River in the past.
