Flag of Garešnica

The symbols of Garešnica (images) are prescribed by Decision Odluka o grbu i zastavi grada Garešnice, adopted on 8 August 1997 by the Town Assembly and published in the Town official gazette Službeni glasnik Grada Garešnice, No. 6.

The symbols were designed by the Heraldic Art d.o.o. company, from Rijeka, and approved by the Ministry of Administration / Central State Office for Administration.

The flag is in proportions 1:2, dark blue with the coat of arms, bordered yellow, in the middle.

The coat of arms is "Azure a deer's head caboshed or".
Hunting is traditional in the region, as shown by the trophy antlers on the coat of arms.

There is also a ceremonial version of the coat of arms, with the name of the town on a ribbon and a wreath of chestnut leaves and fruits. This coat of arms is used on a blue flag. The status of this flag is unknown. Those symbols are not prescribed in the official Decision
