I send two proposals of the county flag of Sulęcin County in the voivodship of Lubuskie. Sulencin's former German name is "Zielenzig".
The County Council decided on a white flag with coat of arms of Sulęcin
County. The Polish Heraldic Commission had turned down the proposal and
recommended a light blue field in the middle of white cloth. The County
rejected the idea of the commission and applied for the authorization of
the completely white flag with Coat of Arms to the Department of Interior. A decision
departement was not yet been taken as yet.
The white color of the flag had her origin in the city flag of the Sulęcin
Town. Also the coat of arms combined coat of arms of Sulęcin Town (the
lamb) and the Coat of Arms of the historic region of Wielkopolskie (the eagle).
