Description of the flag

Greenbush is one of the smaller rural towns in Maine with a municipal flag. In response to a query, the following information was received:
"The Town Manager asked me to respond to your email for him as I have the pleasure of working with the Town photos. I have attached a photo of the Greenbush flag. This flag was designed by Nancy Tenney former resident who won a contest for a Town logo for our sesquicentennial in 1984. Mrs. Tenney and her husband George owned and operated Olamon Cash Market, a local store in the northern end of town. We have continued to use this as our town flag since that time."
