As the sources below reveal, the comparison of the flag with that of the USA [1-6] and the 1983-2024 version of the state flag of Minnesota [1-4], along with an additional comparison with the flag of Sweden [5-6], reveal that the shade of blue is very similar with that which was used in the said flag of Minnesota, perhaps a bit more intense and a bit darker. The Pantone color PMS 286 C looks like the closest match [7]. The photo located by Dave Fowler also seems to match that.

Also, instead of the logo currently used to represent the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science there is a better one, looking like a seal: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Mayo_Clinic_College_logo.png which also resembles the emblem of the Mayo Clinic Alumni Association.

The three shields symbolize medical research, education, and practice - three areas of the Mayo Clinic's activities.

The Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, as well as the Alix School of Medicine use a lighter blue, #0057b8, which roughly equates to PMS 2935.

The official Mayo Clinic flag color is PMS 2728 and they have modified their logo slightly in 2024 as attached.
